Studying system
Studying system in our faculty is based on two-semester system. studying in bachelor's degree is divided into two related stages according to the following:
First basic stage:
This is a general study stage in the first and second grades in which student studies educational, psychological, scientific and applied educational materials in preparation for specialization in one of following specializations in the second stage
The second stage:
This stage includes specialized study in third and fourth grades in one of the following specializations:
- Division of Teaching Physical Education
- Division of Sports Training
- Division of sports Management
Faculty Council shall determine necessary conditions for students' distribution of in any of the three divisions within the light of competent scientific departments' councils
Registration requirements (Student must):
- Have a high school certificate
- Pass acceptance tests determined by faculty Council after passing initial medical examination
- Pass medical examination in Mansoura University in accordance with what is determined by faculty council from necessary examinations to join faculty.
Duration of study:
Bachelor's degree of Physical Education takes four years (8 semesters).
Field Training:
Field training is conducted in accordance with faculty field training regulations approved by Mansoura University Council in terms of supervision and separate and related training periods. Field training is a related subject to be examined at academic year end for third and fourth grades.
Attendance lectures' rate:
Student must attend theoretical lectures and participate in applied exercises in accordance with faculty system where student must attend non-less than of 75% of theoretical lectures to enter any examination. In this case, if student didn't fulfill that rate, student is considered to have failed in courses and prevented from applying for examination, unless student presents an excuse accepted by faculty Council.
