Functions of the Quality Assurance Unit
The unit's areas of work and specialization include the following activities:
1. Documenting the vision, mission and strategic objectives of the college and the mechanism for updating it.
2. Follow up the application of other departments and units of the mechanisms of quality systems.
3. Continuous evaluation, whether of institutional capacity or educational effectiveness.
4. Spreading the culture and concepts of quality among faculty members, students, college workers, and community parties.
5. Updating the database of the college's human and material resources to benefit from it in setting policies and improvement plans, as well as establishing a mechanism for updating it.
6. Training cadres of faculty members to work as trainers in the field of quality management to ensure building institutional capacity.
7. Evaluate the needs of the various activities in the college and work on developing and qualifying human resources through training and rehabilitation, as well as maximizing the use of available material resources.
8. Take measures to ensure the academic standards approved for the study programs adopted by the college are met.
9. Ensure that the description of the college programs and courses is documented according to the Al-Farabi system to ensure the quality of education.
10. Follow up the preparation and documentation of the college courses and programs report.
11. Developing a system to receive and follow-up student complaints, as well as a mechanism for dealing with them.
12. Developing a system to ensure the continuity and effectiveness of the systems and policies in place.
13. Communicate with graduates and beneficiaries to determine the quality of services that the college can provide and evaluate the quality of its performance.
14. Preparing and publishing an annual self-report for the college that reflects the level of performance in all activities and includes an executive plan for development to ensure the quality of the educational and research process and community participation, based on documented data.
15. Work with the college administration and all scientific and administrative departments to prepare the college and prepare it to maintain accreditation.
