The opening of the first free sports arena at Mansoura University

On the sidelines of Mansoura University’s celebrations of the Golden Jubilee, and in light of the university’s interest in the health of its employees, and its belief in the importance of practicing sports activities; Prof. Dr. / Ashraf Abdel Basset - President of Mansoura University, accompanied by Mr. Prof. Mahmoud El-Meligy - Vice President for Community Service Affairs, Mr. Prof. Mohamed Attia - Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Mr. Prof. / Ashraf Hafez - Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs and Prof. Ahmed Abdel Azim Abdullah - Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education.

This morning, Wednesday, December 22, with the opening of the first sports arena at Mansoura University, in the presence of a group of deans and deans of faculties, the Secretary-General of the university and the assistant trustees of the university, and with the participation of the Al-Mahrousa students team of the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector, and a team of students from the Faculty of Physical Education.

The arena is located in the garden behind the digital training center (scientific calculation) and includes a number of sports equipment and machines that were manufactured within the workshops of the College of Agriculture and the Olympic Village, where the community service and environmental development sector supervised all stages of its establishment, starting from the design stage and manufacturing all sports machines and equipment in the arena and follow-up implementation By Eng. Eman Farouk and Eng. Nevin Nader in the Engineering Office in the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector, with the aim of making sports available to all university employees for free and encouraging them to practice it.

In this regard, Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Meligy expressed his thanks and gratitude to everyone who participated in the establishment of this great edifice in all its stages, as he thanked Mr. Prof. Ahmed Abdel Azim - Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education, Mr. Prof. Ayman Al-Ghamry - Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Shata - Vice Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture for Community Service Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Tharwat - Director of the Workshops of the Faculty of Agriculture, Dr. Haitham Al-Badawihi - Director of the Olympic Village, and Engineer Iman Farouk - Head of the Engineering Office in the Service Sector Society, Engineer / Alaa Abdel-Khabir - Director of the Department of Gardens and Nursery at the university, Mr. Saber Abdel-Gawad - Supervisor of the campus work.
