Republic Taekwondo Championship

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Ashraf Abdel Baset, President of the University, and Prof. Dr. Muhammad Attia Al-Bayoumi, Vice President of the University, Mansoura University hosted the Republic Taekwondo Championship, which was held in the covered hall champ4 in the Olympic Village

▪️ With a generous and honorable commission from the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abdel Azim, Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education, attended the tournament - representing the President of the University - where he praised the wonderful organization and efforts made

▪️ His Excellency continued that such major events show the role of the university with its surrounding community and its civil and sports institutions, and that the university’s direction in activating the protocols of scientific, practical and sports cooperation puts Mansoura University in the ranks of the great universities in the Arab world

▪️ Among the attendees were Counselor Mohamed Mustafa, President of the Taekwondo Federation, Professor Khaled Mahmoud, Vice President of the Federation, and Mr. Hazem Qandil, supervisor of the championship

▪️ Many figures from Dakahlia Governorate attended, headed by Mr. Waheed Fouda, a member of the Egyptian House of Representatives, Mr. Tharwat Fath al-Bab, a Senator, Mr. Tarek Abdel Hadi, a Senator and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Jazirat Al-Ward Sports Club, and Mr. Ihab Fouda, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Hiwar Sports Club
