Faculty of Sports Sciences Receives ISO Certification and Recognizes Institutional Excellence
Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Sherif Youssef Khater, President of Mansoura University, and Professor Dr. Mohamed Abdel-Azim, Vice President of Mansoura University for Community Service and Environmental Development,
In a new institutional achievement that embodies the Faculty's vision for sustainable development and reflects its commitment to applying the highest standards of quality and governance, the Faculty has obtained ISO certification for quality. The Faculty's Excellence Team was also honored in recognition of its dedicated efforts and pivotal role in achieving this accomplishment, which is a significant step in the journey of enhancing institutional performance.
This success is the culmination of a diligent and integrated work process based on systematic planning, continuous monitoring, and constructive cooperation among the various sectors of the Faculty, within an institutional vision that believes quality and excellence are a sustainable approach, not a temporary achievement.
In recognition of the distinguished leadership efforts, Professor Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Azim, Dean of the College, was honored for his active role in supporting the ISO system and excellence, and for his wise leadership, which was the cornerstone of achieving this accomplishment. It was emphasized that the College's success would not have been possible without a clear vision and decisive management that always strives for excellence, in appreciation of its wise leadership and continuous support for the quality and excellence system.
In this context, His Excellency affirmed that the College's attainment of the ISO certification and the recognition of the excellence team reflect the College's commitment to working according to clear institutional standards and moving steadily towards developing the academic and administrative work system and raising the efficiency of educational and community services, in line with the University's strategy and future vision. He emphasized that the next phase will witness further development and continuous modernization.
*In a moving and institutional gesture of appreciation, Professor Dr. Sherif Youssef Khater, President of Mansoura University, posthumously honored Dr. Khaled Ziada, the College's Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, by awarding him a shield of honor in recognition of his distinguished efforts during his tenure at the College. This honor comes in recognition of his sincere efforts and contributions, and his significant role in supporting the college's progress and enhancing its work system. We pray for God's mercy and forgiveness upon him, that He may grant him Paradise, and that the impact of his contributions may remain forever etched in the memory of the college and its university.*
The honor also extended to Assistant Professor Dr. Abdulrahman Mujahid, Director of the College's Excellence Unit, for his outstanding efforts in leading and activating the institutional excellence system, monitoring the implementation of ISO standards, and preparing the college for accreditation requirements.
Dr. Walid Amara, the College Secretary, was also honored for his effective role in supporting administrative performance and achieving integration among the various units.
Ms. Nevin Anwar, Head and Member of the College's Excellence Team, was recognized for her distinguished organizational and administrative efforts and her active participation within the team.
In this regard, Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Azim, Dean of the College, affirms that this achievement is the result of collective work and a unified team spirit. It represents a significant step towards enhancing the College's standing among its peers and achieving leadership in institutional performance, which will positively impact the educational process and community service.
