The symposium aims to raise awareness of the necessity of early examination to detect the extent of breast cancer or not, in addition to defining breast tumors, the causes of infection and methods of prevention.
Prof. Dr. Walid Al-Nahhas indicated that a breast tumor is a cancerous cell over which the body has lost control and grows at a rapid rate, which leads to swelling in the place of the cell or in places adjacent to it.
Al-Nahhas believes that the chances of developing breast tumors increase with the increase in age, the presence of genetic factors, the presence of a history of patients with these tumors in the family of this patient, taking contraceptives, consuming alcohol, and not having children.

The attendees also asked to exercise, adhere to breastfeeding, and not drink alcohol
Al-Nahhas advised doing an early examination, which will help in the event of a breast tumor being discovered in recovery faster than what would happen if the examination was performed and the tumor was discovered at a late stage.
He stressed the existence of different methods for self-examination for women, which is a method suitable for those over 20 years of age, in addition to the manogram examination, which is suitable for those over 40 years of age.
