About the Department of Sports Health Sciences
Vision
The Department is committed to a distinguished position among other departments of sports health sciences in different faculties of physical education by providing a distinguished group of courses and training courses that serve health sciences sector and sectors related to sports health sciences.
Mission
Assisting in preparing a distinguished graduate in sports health sciences field to achieve integration with other departments by teaching some specialized courses for students that enable them to apply biological laws to sports movements of human body in order to improve sports performance efficiency, and assisting in conducting scientific research and organizing courses to refine sports injuries and rehabilitation and physiological measurements and massage, beside organizing health convoys to serve community
Objectives
- Providing the graduate with health information as injuries, nutrition, textures, etc., to make him capable of working after graduation.
- Providing the graduate with information and knowledge on injuries, nutrition, health, anatomy and physiology to make him distinctive in training
- Provide the student with information that makes him highly qualified to work as a specialist in injuries and rehabilitation at sports clubs after graduation.
- Providing the student with scientific information in the field of health clubs that make him qualified to work in these health centers, clubs and hotels.
- Providing the graduate with information and knowledge on injuries, health sciences, anatomy and textures, making him capable of working in the field of physical education for people with special needs
- Providing the graduate with information and knowledge about health sciences and textures make him distinctive in teaching.
- Providing the student with information and knowledge about sports science and sports health sciences to learn about what is new internationally and Egypt's position on this huge development.
- Providing information on human body and how to use modern techniques in field of physiological tests and identification of injuries and therapeutic exercises.
